What's Happening In Far Rockaway?....

Hey World, Far Rockaway is nearer than you may think. It's just an A train away to Queens, NY. -Be sure that it says Far Rockaway when you get on the train though. You may accidently end up in Ozone or Rockaway Park instead of your intended destination. It's a beautiful scenery though, once the train finally leaves the tunnel. You arrive outside surrounded by water of the peninsula, hopefully with the sun shining bright. This summer Far Rockaway will experience their very own carnival in partnership with WIADCA, The West Indian American Day Carnival Association . They are the official association of the carnival we experience in Crown Heights, Brooklyn during labor day weekend. The office of Senator James Sanders hopes to make it an annual event, so don't delay if you'd like to participate. This is history in the making. Putting CommUnity Ideas To Work!

Hello World! -Thank God For the Weekend! Over the past three years I've worked to promote education, mentorship, emergency preparation and faith based initiatives in communities undergoing development. While serving to get the word out about services and supporting non-profit organizations and agencies, I've come across many amazing people and events in which many community members may not be aware. I intend to highlight some of the entities in which I've engaged in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, East New York, Brooklyn, Far Rockaway, Queens, South Jamaica, Queens, Brownsville, Brooklyn, East Harlem, South Bronx, North Shore, Staten Island and more! I believe these are all areas to keep an eye on for old and new services which assist the community in addition to events which enrich the lives of friends and neighbors alike. If you live in these areas and would like me to promote, host or cover your next community event ...Email your Beloved Community Ambassador Today! Blessm
