The Gift of Life and Purpose!

If every time we speak creation occurs, what happens when we manifest the life we desire?

Happy December 2018. Life itself is an amazing gift from creation. Our lives are filled with ideas, information and inspiration to spur the world into positive action. I share my experiences here on purpose.

Today I write  ✍️ to encourage us and to build my writing stamina. When we start to work on those things we’re passionate about we also manifest the greatest good in us. Our actions not only bless us individually but the lives of others.

I honor I Am for always being within me. I honor the life of all those that have taught me. I Am the seed that grew up to experience all that I have on purpose. Now I go forth and share and bless others forward.

It’s amazing how just when you think you’re done with all the pushing and pain there is an additional movement. It comes about a half hour after giving birth. If in stirrups it just may move on out by itself. ‘Afterbirth’ follows new life. It’s the organ that supplied the nutrients and blood from the mother to the unborn child.

There was a special delivery already happening on the inside. It was preparation for the baby to be delivered from the womb at its set time. Growth was literally happening in a practice form all the while. It was all on purpose.

Everything that we need has already been nourished within us. It has caused us to be able to grow. So when we say we are seeds and that we are the offspring of creation and the universe, it’s true. So now I say and ask: The words that have been spoken from your mouth are powerful. What will happen when you begin to manifest those positive things you’ve said you want into your life? Reflect on that. Jot your feelings and thoughts down in a journal today.

Remember the following when you start to manifest what you have positively spoken. When moving forward to create or give birth to a new thing have faith that what follows is growth. It’s a process that is literally helped by you delivering the nourishment to sustain it’s existence. It is as the life cycle that kept us nourished and alive during growth. There is no need to look back. You’re literally made from the stuff you need to survive. It’s already in you.

I speak of the things I’ve made with I AM.

Blessings From New York!

The Tea at MEC!

Left: Dr. Patricia Ramsey, President Medgar Evers College and Right: Yours Truly, Melanie Lewis  Hello ThresholdWorld Fam, It’s been a while so we’re gonna start off with some flavorful news to warm your spirit.  Sunday, August 28th was the Medgar Evers College (MEC) Pre-Inaugural High Tea Fundraiser in honor of the Sixth President, Dr. Patricia Ramsey.  President Ramsey is the first female and scientist to serve at the college. You’ve got to read her fascinating bio of accomplishments.  https://www.mec.cuny.edu/office-of-the-president/  While contributing to the history she really just wants to make a difference to students and the school community.  She also has cool ties to the schools namesake in  her family tree. Her very own cousin Curtis Harris, served to make sure Medgar Evers legacy was protected back in Mississippi years ago. She shared these sentiments to those of us in attendance as we sipped our tea and tipped our hats in her honor. Speaki...

Economics, Balance and Love!

Hello World! I attended the 13th Annual Rainbow PUSH Wall Street Project Economic Summit this afternoon in New York, NY. The topic: “Targeted Stimulus: A Call to Equity and Parity.” The event dates are January 13-15, 2010 at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers. www.wallstreetproject.org The Project was founded on January 15, 1996 to honor the birth of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the beginning of the first quarter of the business year. The Project’s organizational origin, as referenced on the website, rests with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference’s Operation Breadbasket, established by Dr. King in 1966 to work toward a more inclusive America by combining theology with the struggle for economic justice. This afternoon’s highlights included: New York State Governor David Patterson receiving the Percy Sutton Award and Pastor Hezekiah Walker receiving the Reverend Timothy Wright award. The United States Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack spoke of the many oppo...

Blessed by Nature!

Today I went to my favorite spot in the world thus far. The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens has always been my best place to think, dream, and plan. I like this picture as it captures me in the moment. Soaking it all in. The beauty surrounds me. I love it! I am greatful to have such a lovely place as this garden in my community. View www.bbg.org for yourself and visit a garden in your community. If none, build it and they will come. :) Escape for a moment. Be blessed by nature!
